England Squash appoints new Membership and Commercial Partnerships Manager

England Squash is pleased to welcome Joey Barrington as our new Membership and Commercial Partnerships Manager.

A former professional squash player and England international, who is also the lead commentator for Squash TV, Joey boasts a wealth of experience and connections across the sport and is a fantastic addition to the England Squash team.

As part of his new role, Joey will lead the day-to-day delivery of England Squash’s new membership and affiliation scheme, engage with members, clubs and other stakeholders to maximise member benefits, establish and maintain relationships with a host of different external stakeholders from across the sport, as well as seeking new commercial opportunities.

Commenting on his appointment, Joey said: “I am honoured to be a part of England Squash and see this role as a tremendous opportunity to promote and elevate the sport.

“The inclusion of squash in the 2028 LA Olympics presents the perfect opportunity for England Squash to inspire, grow, nurture and champion the sport, along with its dedicated and passionate members and stakeholders.

“I hope to bring England Squash closer to a wider and more diverse audience, support grassroots growth, attract new members, investment and partnerships, whilst also reinvigorating existing relationships to showcase the sport. To be part of England Squash at such a pivotal moment in our sport’s history is a privilege.”
