Once you have found a session, registration is easy. On the course page, simply click on the yellow 'Book now' button and follow the steps to create your account and add the details of your child. You'll then be asked to pick a t-shirt size for your child and pay. You will receive a booking confirmation once you have completed the registration.

How much does the programme cost?

Squash Stars costs just £42 which includes a racket, a ball, goggles, a t-shirt and bag plus six free coaching sessions provided by a registered Squash Stars club.

There are no Squash Stars sessions happening where we live?

My Squash Stars booking

Do I need a ClubSpark account to book my child onto a programme?

Yes, once you have found a course that you would like to sign your child up to, you will need to register for a ClubSpark account in your name. Please note: you must be the child’s parent, legal guardian or have the permission of the parent to book them on a course and be over 18-years-old. You will then need to add your child or children onto your account by selecting the 'Add Player' option.

How do I go about cancelling my booking?

Our step-by-step guide below explains how you can cancel your child's place. PLEASE NOTE: you can only cancel your child's place within 48 hours of booking them onto the programme. This is because as soon as you book your child onto the programme, our kit provider electronically receives your order and posts your kit to you directly.

If you need to cancel for any reason after this period, please email England Squash. Please be aware, we will not be able to refund you should you have to cancel after 48 hours.

How to cancel your child's place:

  • Log into your Squash Stars account
  • Click on your profile (the person icon in the top right hand corner)
  • Choose “Courses” from the dropdown
  • Choose “View course details”
  • There is a 'cancellation' field which provides instructions on who to contact to cancel / arrange a refund.

Can I transfer my booking?

If there is another Squash Stars session you would like your child to attend instead of the one they are booked onto, please email paticipation@englandsquash.com. The team at England Squash will be able to advise and process any transfers.

What happens if the club cancels the course?

If the club cancels the course, the club will contact you and offer you the opportunity to transfer to another club or offer a full refund. The club will then contact England Squash for your transfer to be processed.

If you already received your kit before the course was cancelled, please email paticipation@englandsquash.com to arrange for it to be sent back.

What happens if my child missed a session?

If your child misses a session due to being ill or unable to attend, you can discuss making the session up with the club but this will be at the club's discretion and may not be possible.

Can my child join half way through a programme and what happens if my child doesn’t receive a full programme?

Yes, your child can join a programme after it has started. However, please be aware this does not guarantee them the six free sessions. When registering, we would recommend checking with the club to see if they can accommodate the extra sessions to take the total up to six. Please note, this is at the club's discretion and may not be possible.

Safeguarding

How do England Squash ensure Squash Stars sessions are appropriately safeguarded?

England Squash requires all clubs to be affiliated and have a welfare officer in place or for a facility to provide England Squash with the contact details for their welfare officer.

All of our leaders complete a specific training course to deliver sessions. As part of their commitment to safeguarding, we ensure they complete a safeguarding course and hold a valid DBS. Each club and facility delivering Squash Stars will have a first aider present at each session.

More generally, the equipment provided in the starter bundle is age appropriate and safe to use. We recommend parents check their equipment when it arrives to see if there has been any damage whilst being delivered. If you spot any issues with the equipment, please email squashstarskit@dmcsport.co.uk.

Will any photos be taken of my child during the session?

Photos may be taken during the sessions, but the club/facility will seek consent from parents/guardians to do this. Consent will need to be given to allow photography as well as the use of these photos either through the club/facility or England Squash.

If you have concerns, please contact the coach/leader delivering your Squash Stars session.
